Terms of use
- The short version. My Show Tracker is a free tool for keeping track of TV. Use it for that, be decent, and don’t try to break it.
- Your guide is yours. You can export it or delete it whenever you like.
- Where-to-watch info and AI picks are helpful guesses, not guarantees.
These terms apply when you use myshowtracker.com (“My Show Tracker”, “we”, “us”). By using it, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 (or 16 where local law requires) to create an account.
- Keep access to your email or Google account safe — that’s how you sign in. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account. Don’t pretend to be someone else, and don’t pick a username that does.
Your stuff
The shows, thumbs, notes and settings you add are yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to you — and, if your page is public, to show your display name, shows and thumbs on it. That permission ends when you delete them or your account.
You can download your guide any time (Settings → Export CSV) and delete your account any time (Settings → Delete account).
Using it fairly
Please don’t:
- Scrape, bulk-download or copy the site or its data, or use bots to access it.
- Get around the limits on picks, searches or Tonight rounds, or try to overload the service.
- Probe, hack or disrupt the site, or access other people’s accounts or data.
- Use usernames, display names or Tonight names that are offensive, hateful or misleading.
- Use the service to break the law or anyone else’s rights.
If someone does, we may remove content, limit features or close the account.
Show info, streaming and picks
- Show details and posters come from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
- Where-to-watch data comes from JustWatch. Catalogues change often, so a show may have moved by the time you look.
- Air dates can shift. Alerts are a heads-up, not a promise.
- Picks are made by AI and by recommendation data. They can be off, or occasionally wrong about a show.
- Links to Netflix, Max, Prime Video and other services go to their sites, which have their own terms. We’re not affiliated with them, and their names and logos belong to them.
Our part
My Show Tracker is free. We work hard to keep it running well, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop offering the service — if we do, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can so you can export your guide.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, and if you’re a consumer, you keep any rights your local law gives you.
Ending things
You can stop using My Show Tracker and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other people at risk. The sections on liability and these general points survive after an account is closed.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and let you know in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
